Darling Buns of May
May 10th, 2017 by Kimberly
Admittedly, this was not my best photo, but the image makes me giggle. The sign says, “Trust in goodness, because trusting evil isn’t fun for anyone.” Someone saw a chain-link fence in an L.A. neighborhood and decided to cheer it up with motivational postcards. I want to buy them dinner. Bunnies offering guidance should make more frequent appearances in the world.
This bunny speaks truth. Trusting in goodness doesn’t mean you must blind yourself to evil. It just means believing that against occasionally overwhelming odds, good will usually triumph, if you give it long enough. Anyway, long term, it’s a lot more fun. I’d rather try to build something and fail than aim to destroy something and succeed.
Cheerful posters with bunnies are good. If the bunny is mean to you, walk away. Kimberly thinks you deserve better than that.
That placard is absolutely awesome. More good bunnies everywhere, please!
